In 2011, David teamed with author John Bear to publish a fine art coffee table book which features over 70 color reproductions of his paintings of the village he called home for six years.
David's paintings reflect his love of Mendocino and the northern California coast, while John's text compliments the artwork with observations and musings that are sometimes historical, sometimes whimsical, and always entertaining.
This book, titled “MENDOCINO, Paintings by David Gregory, Words by John Bear” was awarded “Best Book Cover of 2012” by BAIPA (Bay Area Independent Publishers Association). ISBN 978-0-9838172-0-8
